Children dwelling on streets are most prone to abuse. The atrocity of abuse is extensive and affects them mentally and physically. Having no care and love by their side, it gets really difficult for the street children to move on in life. Salaam Baalak Trust, an NGO in Delhi, was created with a vision to provide care, security, nutrition, education and overall a better life for the needful, distressed and deprived street children who have been abandoned or neglected since years.
